Shocking service from Auto Gen. I had my car broken into and attempted on Fri 30/08/13, my car was collected on the same day great service. Monday 02/09/13 the asscessor contacted me to inform me that my car would be taken to one of there preferred suppliers for repairs as we were speaking on the phone. After the phone call I received a sms with ref nr that my car is on its way to the service provider for repairs, shortly after I receive 2nd sms saying that a breakdown has been dispatched ETA 60min, after that receiving a 3rd sms saying confirmation of arrival service provider. Today 09/09/2013 I visited the preferred repairer to inquire on progress of repairs, only to be told that the repairer only received my car today (a week later) for repairs. So I was to last week. The repairer inform me that the VIN nr on the documents received from Auto Gen was different to my cars Vin nr therefore the wrong parts would of been ordered, if the repairer did not pick it up then even more delays. So now it has been more than a week for a job that could be completed within a day, very frustrating and inconvinient and tied of wasting money on calls but you dare be late with a payment
