UNACCEPTABLE INCREASE, NEGLIGENCE AND POOR SERVICE

Received a communication 1 Sept that my policy will be increasing for my household and car insurance due to FNB having issues with their current insurer from 1 Oct onwards. FNB also proposes deducting the Sept debit order as well as the new Oct debit order in the same month as the new policy will be paid in advance and not in arrears as before. The revised 17 page policy sent to me with the letter had none of my correct details, was my policy incorrect all along or has the transfer not been done correctly? The broker's reply who is currently earning 20% on my policy, she can't assist call the customer complaint line.

The call centre is not able to amend a customer's details I found out after spending 45 minutes on a call yesterday, promised some one would get back to me today.

My question in this day and age with the insurance market being so competitve can FNB really afford to dabble in a service they arent going to supply properly?
