Motor Finance Corp have one of the most useless customer care centres I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I bought a car in March 2010 and financed it through MFC. I have received a total of 5 statements from them over the last 3 years and each one I have had to request, despite requesting regular statements numerous times. On 5 June 2013 I sent an email to their [Email Removed] address (as instructed by their website) to request that they increase my instalments as of 1 August 2013. No one responded at all and my instalments were increased on 1 July 2013 without so much as an email notification. I then received an email on 24 July 2013 informing me that they had received my email (sent 5 June 2013) and someone would get back to me within 24-48 hours. No one did, not that it mattered as the increase had already been in effect for a month. I have now tried TWICE to request a statement of my repayments from inception (March 2010) and each time have received a statement showing my repayments from May 2013.
I cannot understand how a company can continue to operate like this. I have 8 repayments left after which I will never use MFC or Nedbank again.
