Poor service once again

In the past 6 mths, I deposited excessive amounts into a loan I have with African Bank. My circumstances changed recently and I contacted a supervisor in the consumer advocates office to ask if they would be able to refund the excess to me or allow me a grace period.

I was told that the query had been put forward to the branch manager and that he had decided to refund the amount because I was ahead in payments, rather than agree to a grace period.

I was told to deal with the admin supervisor at the branch. African Bank has full view of my acc, but I was told to send proof, so I sent my latest invoice from them. The next day when I chased up, I was told to send payment confirmations as their own invoice wasn`t enough??? I faxed documents through, only to be told a day later, when I chased up that the fax number on his email is wrong and given another. I faxed it through to 2nd number and chased him for 2 days, only to be told that no documents were received. I then asked for his managers name and when calling discovered the number to be invald.

If I`d been told at start that they couldn`t help, I`d have made alternative arrangements; but this displays complete lack of care.
