Customer service is pathetic!!!

1) I've sent them an email requesting an urgent quote for a car that I had to collect Tuesday past, it took them 3 days to phone
2) I've been sending emails to them to cancel my bike insurance for 2 days (3rd request) with no response.

I know I can phone BUT I believe in paper trail to cover myself and therefore prefer doing everything via emails.

Why is service just getting worse by the day?
