Dear Sir/Madam,

I`m writing this with a very sore heart due to the treatment I received at African Bank.

On the 23rd July 2013, I received a notification via sms that African Bank had deducted money from my count for a loan that I have with them. I decided to go to my bank and ask them to reverse the transaction. My bank notified me that I would have to contact African bank and get approval from before they can reverse the money, I made my way to the nearest African Bank branch. The lady at the branch assisted me and contacted one of their accounts consultants (Nicolas) and informed him of my issue. What frustrated me more was that the agreement that I had with African Bank was that they would deduct the amount on the 25th of every month and my account was up to date to my knowledge. Nicolas advised me that there was nothing he could do to assist me because the money was not reflecting system, I then told him that I received an sms from then and the debit order reflected on my bank statement, I was willing to send it to him. He then gave me his contact details and fax number to forward the statement and ID copy, he would speak to his managers about my refund.
