Cell phone contract

So i receive a phone from real people telling me about the cellphone contract i have that's unpaid so i tell the lady i dont know anything about that and she hangs up and i assumed she dial the wrong number. I receive an sms few days later requesting i send an affidavit, ID copy and MY SIGNATURE for the matter to be resolved. I phoned them on the number they've provided, apparently i have a cellphone contract owing R8, 000. I asked for proof that i've taken this contract (contract, my ID, signatue or something) the guy tells me he doenst have the documents but tells me i live somewhere in JHB and this is where the cell phone was delivered, the thing is: i live in Durban, never lived in jhb in life, I've never had any contracts with Real people cellular, not even a loan with Real people. How do i send YOU my ID COPY with MY SIGNATURE when you are telling me that your company has been scamed and that i'm a victim of identity???
