I opened a new account with FNB as I have only heard compliments from current clients within my circle of friends. Together with my new banking account application I applied for the Samsung Galaxy S4 campaign. I was quite satisfied with the speed in which my device was delivered. Upon receipt, I however did not receive my Cell C SIM card, which formed part of the package.By the time the first debit order went off my account, I still did not have the SIM card. Upon my third follow up call in weeks, the SIM was dispatched and delivered. Now I finally have the device and the SIM card, but my cell phone package/contract has not been activated. I logged the activation call a week ago, and again, had to follow up on why activation has not take place within the time frame of 24 - 48 hours, as indicated. The date of my second debit order is nearing, and STILL I cannot use the service I am paying for! Throughout this whole process no one could ever tell me what the hold up or problem was. The only remedy provided is that the issue has been escalated and I will receive feedback shortly. FNB, please stick to your time frames and inform your clients when there is a problem or delay!
