In the past I have always had excellent service from my personal banker but now Standard Bank have taken upon themselves to remove this service. One has to phone a call centre and they put through a request for a personal banker to phone you back which does not happen. The only time I need to contact my banker is in a case of emergency but to the person dealing with me decides when and how to contact me which is so frustrating. When I had access to my banker whether it was by cellphone or email it was quick and efficient and of course one felt you were treated in the right way after bankig with them for 44 years and now I get nothing. Will certainly be cfosing my bank account
