As per your mission statement " we offer our customers unparalleled experience and expertise. Our reputation for excellence is well and truly established in home and motor insurance, and we are passionate about growing this market sector" I find this hard to believe. I completed a claim form with my broker on 15 July 2013, after back and forth documents being requested unnecessarily and incorrectly i called and spoke to the head of Zurich KZN, Mr Raymond Kalu on 5 August, he listened to my complaint and promised to call back, which he did not. I further went personally to their offices on 7 August and he was too busy on a conference call and so i left my details with his PA, still no call. in the interim car hire that i pay for in my premium has expired and not forgetting the claim amount has still not reflected in my bank account. THEIR SHODDY SERVICE HAS LEFT ME WITH A DELAYED CLAIM, NO CAR AND DELAYED PAYMENT 31 DAYS LATER. My broker has tried every avenue in assisting but Zurich obviously makes all the calls. DEFINITELY NOT INDUSTRY LEADERS. Service standards are way below industry benchmarks
