I was involved in an accident with a Zurich insured party on the 21st of May 2013, the matter was reported to their insurance which is Zurich Insurance as they were in the wrong and admitted to it verbally and in written form. The thirdparty process was adhered to and completed in a week but the payment is being delayed as they say they cannot process my claim without processing their clients claim first. I have been calling to to follow up on that for the past 4 weeks and I am being sent from pillar to post the the person handling the clients claim and their manager (Jacob tsitsampe and claims manager Christna) also giving me contradicting information which is appearing to be false. Firstly they have offered me less that what it costs to fix my car and I therefore urgently request Zurich to pay for fixing of my car in a week, failing which I will log a complaint with the Ombudsman. I further wish to indicate that, delay in fixing these damage may be causing/ have caused consequential damages that will be charge to Zurich's account should they continue to delay.
