On the 11th July 2013, I reported a claim to Standard Bank insurance as my car caught fire. I was told to wait for 30 days as this was their turnaround time to follow up on my claim. The Assessors were dispatched to assess the damages of my vehicle on the 18 July 2013. I called my Insurance on the 13 August 2013, following up on my claim. I was told by Lisa that she has got the report from the Assessors, this is crazy as Im being inconvienced by the Standard Bank insurance, where they are suppose to assist at the times I lose my vehicle, due to fire and and right now it the 34th Day and I havent received any response from Standard bank Insurance. The person assigned to my claim is not returning my calls, I feel she is not working on my claim and she doesnt care about my claim. I feel that I should be compensated for the money and time lost at the time my claim is not being dealt with. Im legally bound with Standard bank Insurance that they will cover my car for, hijacking and Fire. Now I have experienced fire damages on my vehicle and now Standard Bank Insurance doesnt want to come to the party and assist as per the agreement.
