I have had an accident resulting in my car being written off. I had opted for the courtesy vehicle option; now my claim has been settled on 12.08.2013 and I am required to return the courtesy vehicle on 14.08.2013 because rental vehicles must be returned 72 hours after settlement. I have 2 problems with this: 1. It's well and good that the claim has been settled but as a customer I have NOT experienced this as the money has not come through into my account. Neither has the bank. I think Miway should at least start counting the 72 hours from the day that the client and / or bank receives the money. They are first to say that it takes 48-72 hours for the money to appear accounts. Right now, I don't have the money but I'm expected to return the car tomorrow - this I find wrong. 2. In a real life experience I am sure that Miway knows that it does NOT take a day or 2 to buy a new car; surely they should look after their customers and exercise flexibility with their courtesy car rules. I find this disappointing and a major departure from what the company says it stands for. My claim number is 471804
