On 30 August 2013 I became a proud owner of the vehicle and got it ensured and got a service plan incoporated with my monthly vehicle instalment. Then on the 2 May 2013 I took my vehicle for its first service and paid for the service myself. I just called SA Warranties to claim the refund for the cash amount I paid for the service and the responded saying the only pay invoice dating back 7 days. The schedule i received from them did not detail this process and was just a one pager with my vehicle details and the amount paid monthly for the service plan. From the inception of the Service plan no once called me from their customers services department to explain and go through the terms and conditions and now that I am claiming for r my refund of the amount I paid I am told they only pay invoices dating back 7 days and I wont get my refund since the invoice is more than 7 days old and the dealership should have called to make the claim at the time of the service. I will take legal route to have this issue addressed.
