Absolute pathetic service, after struggeling for a month to get my debit order date changed. This morning I got a shock when my car's debit order went off and it was almost a thousand rand more. I phone them immediatly, after holding on for at least 15 min my call was answerd, and I was informed that ABSA decided I do not have insurance and I suddenly have a policy whith them. I was told to call AIP services. I called them and had to hold the line for at least 20min before my call was answerd. The lady informed me that I was supposed to send them proof that I do have insurance. I was never informed of this but according to the call center a letter was sent via normal post to me. I asked her if there is any proof that this letter was sent out to which she responded no just that it was issued. I e- mailed all the needed documents to AIP services, the call center guarenteed my funds will be refunded within 7 working days from today, I do not think that will happen!!! Absa our money and then they try to make you the client the guilty party when it is them who are incompetent. I will be calling the call center everyday till the money they from me is in my account.
