First week of january i received a call from consultant from african bank advising me that my debit orders will go back to their normal day and i reconfirmed amount to be debited and she said to me the amount will remain the same as per agreement (250.00), to my suprise on the 27th african bank debited me 570.73 and i called their collection call center to querie the debit order and i explained to them my situation that they need to reverse the amount immediately as my other debit orders will fall short or atleast email me a letter to take to my bank so that they can reverse the debit and then i will then pay go to an african bank branch and pay cash. they could not assist me, all i got was rudeness to the core and incompetent consultant who told me that what is done is done and there is nothing she can do about it. i do understand that my account is in arrears back then there was nothing i could do as i was unemployed but since i got employed i made new arrangements with them an amount that i could afford for now up until i am up on my feet again. i now have to borrow money to make up for the mess that they got me into. i was treated unfairly
