How long can it take to answer an email

I have mailed documents registered mail to Alex Forbes on 24/6/2013 tracking number RD661471092ZA. When I mailed them following up whether they have received my docs, the financial department said they did not receive it and I need to mail it again. Which means driving to the bank again and getting the docs certified and pay again to mail it registered mail. I queried it with the Post Office in Rayton where it was mailed and they confirmed that it was received by MM Ndouvhada on 28/6/13 at 8h36. I then mailed the financial dep and Zane (person that mailed me previously as to where the docs should be mailed to) last week and the week before with this info, but have not heard from anyone ever since. I need confirmation that my docs were received.
