Extremely poor customer service and communication

Our car was on 8/12/12. We contacted Dial Direct Insurance and provided them with all the details (police case number, etc.). We had been with this insurer for several years and this was the first time we had claimed from them. Our experience with the insurance agent has been very poor; he has not kept us properly updated and his tone has been very rude. After de-registering the car on the 18/12/12, the insurer notified us that the car had been recovered. The agent later indicated that the insurer decided to repair the car rather than pay us out. The car was then sent to the panelbeaters without us seeing the state of it for ourselves. The car has been sitting at the panelbeaters and we have had to constantly contact them for updates. The panelbeater has also been very rude to us and will not indicate when the car will be repaired. They just say the parts have been ordered. They indicated today for the first time to us, that it would take "10 to 15 business days" to repair the car after getting the parts. It has been more than a month since the car was recovered and we have no date when we will get the car back. This poor service and poor communication is unacceptable!
