Good day,

My husband recently purchased a new vehicle, we received a quotation from Dial direct (his current insurer), which was very high compaired to the quote I received on my current policy with another insurer. For this reason we decided to add the new vehicle to my insurance and cancel the policy with Dial Direct. This was all done on the 7th and 8th March.
With the remainder 3 weeks in the month, we requested a refund and were arrogantly told that this is not possible as they dont give refunds, its in the terms and conditions. I feel like this is somewhat unethical if you are not made aware of this when you sign up with Dial Direct, I have also received a refund from my current insurer on a pro rata basis, therefore it is misleading that Dial Direct should not do the same.
We therefore paid for a week of insurance but are being charged for a month, with the car being removed.
I trust this all makes sense.
