Cancel insurance

Took life cover from 1lifedirect, and within 2 weeks decided to cancel, sent email to the consultant and advised her that i wanted to cancel my cover which was only going to start from September, she then told me somone will call and do the cancellation, a consultant called me and we did the cancellation, however i am still getting smses telling me my insurance is active and starts from September. I have emailed Sharon so many times and asked her to please confirm cancellation of my policy, she has not responded.
