My car is insured with Miway. In March, I put in a claim for a dent I received in my car door while I was in a shopping mall. My claim was processed promptly, and I dealt with a very competent and pleasant agent. I then requested to take my car to my own trusted panel beater, signed the indemnity form and I am awaiting payment. four months later still no payment. I sent numerous emails and had no response. Eventually, last week I managed to get through telephonically, and was told they will deposit the money into my account by this week. I then informed them that I bought a second car for my wife and I would like to insure that as well. I was asked certain questions, answers to which I do not know as my wife has the new car. I asked them to call her and get all the needed info from her. It has been two days... no call. Why must I chase after Miway to give them money and a sale? Absolutely shocking customer/sales service. I have 13 years experience in Insurance, managing call centre sales operations. This is unacceptable.
