Unauthorised withdrawals for attorneys

My husband has been approved by Absa Life for his credit card to be paid off as per his medical board. They have now after two months gone and deducted an amount of R2000 from his savings account for attorney charges. I have requested reports of attorney charges from the attorney to date I have not received anything.
Those funds in his savings are barely enough for his monthly expenses and they deduct this amount without his consent. Further more they have been advised telephonically for the past year that he has been boarded but we been awaiting board certificate from his insurance company which only came through this year January. They refuse to refund his funds. Please advise.
