Beware - Sanlam cannot be trusted

I no longer trust Sanlam, the intentional withholding of info, smoke screening and stalling tactics regarding the death claim of my ex wife is appalling. As the Insurers as well as the Executors holding the Will, to use the tactic of "we cannot go any further nor give out any further information until we have a copy of the Will" is ludicrous, the latest - appoint a new Executor - after stalling 3 weeks on that one!

Further, the attitude of your Hester Cahill (Death Claims) leaves a lot to be desired - I do believe as an employee of Sanlam, this person should not make veiled threats to clients!

I have had to cancel my return flight to Germany 15 Jan (where I am based and work on Wind Turbines worldwide) and besides that loss, am now on unpaid leave - the cost exceeds the policy, however, morally, how can I leave my daughter to deal with her grief of the sudden death of her mother as well as the shenanigans of Sanlam? I am the sole heir on the Will, my daughter is a beneficiary on 1 policy. The worst part is the status of the policies reflects "paid out", but no settlement has occurred and Sanlam sidesteps clarifying the matter to my broker as well as myself.
