I have a claim 451109 that MiWay does not want to honour and the person dealing with it, Mr Jethro, has not made contact with me to let me know or explain why.

I upgraded my policy with MiWay in February 2013 from -R850/m to R1200/m. End of Feb MiWay debited my account with R1200 R1300 and this caused that the debit orders to get returned. I called in 3 times to retify or cancel it and finily a supervisor/teamleader said he would assist me. He retained me in March and offered me a premium of about R950 for the same cover and I accepted. I also changed the debit order from the 25th to the 1st monthly as I changed my employment. I asked the agent when my cover starts and he said 'today'. I clearly remember asking him again if it started that day and he said yes and also that no inspection was nessasary. There was no mention of any amounts to be paid to cover me from 25th March to 1 April.

I then had an accedent in that period whilst reversing out of a driveway and now MiWay is saying I was not covered from 25th March to 1st April which I think is wrong as on a recorded line I was promised I was.

I wish this issue to be fixed as soon as possible.
