I have had issues with Altrisk from the onset of my policy. I disclosed to them that I was treated for CarpalTunnelSyndrome and was loaded with an exclusion for Arthritis. On Beverly's request I went for second opinion to prove that the doctor's reports was incorrect and that I was mis-diagnosed and this was side stepped. I spent sleepless nights, money for advice from other health professionals trying to get this off the records as I am very healthy with not pain or symptoms of Arthritis. My physician gave me a simple solution, to get another company to cover me or take the doctor to task. Something my financial adviser should have done as he introduced me to Altrisk. I called a recognised insurance company and I told them about my issues with Altrisk and they advised me that I may be asked to test for Arthritis to which I agreed to. I was accepted with no exclusions.
I then sent an email to Altrisk and FA on 13/06 to cancel my policy. I had not response, I sent another email on 18/06 requesting acknowledgement of cancellation. on 25/06 I received a cancellation form from FA to be fill in. this was submitted on 02/07 and I have still not received reimbursement that I was promised
