Policy still not cancelled & surrendered!

On Monday, 25 March 2013 I sent my cancellation & surrender form to Altrisk for my policy to be cancelled and the surrender value given to me. I called the next day to confirm if they received my documents, the lady said they did but hasn't done anything on them. I called them again today, 5 April to check how far they are with the process. The woman tells me they haven't cancelled or done anything whatsoever on the policy. They wrote on their forms that the surrender amount will be available 7 days after cancellation which they haven't started doing even today. What I want now is my policy to be cancelled with immediate effect and the amount deposited in my account ASAP because I think enough time has been wasted already doing nothing on the policy and I am being inconvenienced. Luckily I stopped the debit order with my bank before they start deducting again as they are sitting on our policies and doing nothing with our requests. This is quite frustrating.

And another thing, the call centre must really be sorted out. I spent close to 30 minutes waiting for someone to respond while my airtime is busy going. This is uncalled for, do something with your call center and do it urgently.
