4 months for a claim, not done correctly, no hire

I put a claim in for damage on my car over 4 months ago.
I was sent for an assesment which was done the very next day.
Outsurance took over 4 months to get back to me regarding this claim
finallly the day arrives i need to take my car in and get a hire car
guess what... 3 hours in the repair shop and still no rental car...
have no idea how to get home and have spoken to over 20 people in the car center who cant help me

outsurance can take your bend your back service and shove it!
pathetic!!!
