On the 9th of July I sent a secure message to my branch to release funds from my Access Save account to my savings account. I waited for the 7 day notice period and when I checked my account, the funds were not released.

I called the branch and spoke to 3 individuals and none gave me a positive solution. Apparently on the same day a call attempt was made to my cell for confirmation and a message was left as they could not get hold of me. Alina Mokoena the branch manager confirmed she made 1 call to me for confirmation. I do not recall that call and no message was left. She apologised for making only 1 attempt however the apology does not help as I have to wait another 7 days.

I was also shocked to hear that one of the consultants (Motlatsi) does not know what a secure message is. Clara on the other hand was helpful but she was shifting the blame on me saying a call was made and I did not take it.

I honestly do not subscribe to "there is nothing we can do" responses, especially in this day and age of advanced IT solutions. I wanted something to be done, a call to be made, anything to get my dented pocket a small boost. No solution was provided. I was told to just wait
