Standard Bank - dont bother responding. The purpose of this is to simply notify the public as to how you treat your customers / home loan applicants. I recently assisted a gentleman to apply for a home loan at standard bank, and you took more than 5 weeks to come back with a response. You lost documents several times, fabricated phone calls and feedback, kept resubmitting the application incorrectly - basically a complete hash of things. Your systems are obviously not working. When demanding a response after 5 weeks, an Analyst attempted to assist, but simply came back with a decline despite the applicant earning more than enough - because he was " not a Standard Bank customer". I called standard bank "incompetent" due to the repeated errors and delays, to the Analyst, and she slammed the phone down on me. I am a standard bank customer too and have 3 home loans through you, and this is how you treat your customers. I was phoned by a customer services manager who promised me feedback due to the way I was treated, nothing in 10 days. the home loan applicant has still not received detailed feedback as to the decline despite several requests and promises from you. useless useless
