INCOMPETENT!!! UNRELIABLE!!!

On 15 December 2010 I was in an accident with a taxi who bumped me from behind. My vehicle was fixed and I paid the excess. ABSA managed to trace and contact the owner of the taxi to institute legal action. To date there has been no contact with me regarding the matter. In 2012 when I MADE an enquiry, ABSA legal department told me of a change in their attorneys and that I would be contacted in no less than 4 months. Its now 9 months, NO CALL. My question is are they waiting for my claim to prescribe before contacting me? Have all resources been exhausted to get hold of this guy? Will I ever see even a cent of my excess back? Is this competency? If I was owing them instalments for financing they would have long found me and TAKEN the car from me. I've been delaying changing insurance houses because I've been waiting for this case and more especially a simple decent PHONE CALL, I deserve that little as a client who if I may add has never missed out on a single premium. 15 December 2013 will see prescription of my claim against that, wonder what sob excuse I will be given when I HAVE TO CALL THE LEGAL DEPARTMENT again. What exactly am I PAYING THESE PEOPLE FOR???
