Shocked and disgusted in Budget's Client Service

1 June 2013 @ 20h15 we were travelling towards Durbanville in the rain and our car went into slide (without touching brakes) and we hit the barrier. Breakdown arrived in record time and notified us that we were the 6th car for the night on the same spot. While they were prepping our car to be towed in another car also slid, hit the barrier and came to a stand still against our car.

I had to phone Budget twice to report the claim and was asked millions of questions. The Friday I was phoned again and had to re-answer ALL the questions AGAIN (like i was not telling the truth the first time).

A week later we were notified by letter that our claim will not be paid out.

Dispute letter was send on the 20 June 2013, giving Budget 10 working days to respond. On the 4 July (10 days) my husband received a call stating that they will give us feedback early this week, it's Thursday already and no one is returning my calls or replies to my mails.

I will NEVER recommend Budget Insurance to anyone. Make me wonder why they have low low premiums? This is our first claim EVER and what a horrible experience! My husband is without a car and Budget couldn't give a! Worst service ever!
