Outsurance
ANY REASON NOT TO PAY OUT

We have been with outsurance now for quite a while and as with most of the people eventually we had to claim. We took in a homeless man that used to help fix our cars. His wife left him and he had no house or money for food. So we took him in, provided him with a warm place to sleep, a roof over his head, food in his stomach and a friendly smile and helping hand.

And what did we get in return? He took my father's old Mazda 1000 bakkie without permission and was apparently according to a tip off on his way to Ellisras. However the clutch was not working to well so he abandoned the vehicle next to the road and left it there with the keys stuck in the tail pipe.

Once we got home we started discovering more and more things going missing. Just a quick roundup was running between R20 000 and R30 000. We have then brought this under the attention of outsurance with the police case number.

Then they brought up some silly excuse not to honor our claim saying that because he was staying on the premises he counts as a member of the family and also that there was no forced entry and that is the reason for them no willing to pay out.

I personally feel that is low and underhanded
