On the 27 April 2013 my vehicle was & it took Santam somewhere till middle of June (not sure exactly when as they do NOT keep me informed whatsoever unless I call them) to complete the settlement. This is only after calling them many times again & again to push the claim, therefore having to waste much of my own time & money for all these phone calls.

I also sent in 2 complaints (in late May) asking that management contact me to enlighten me on the whole situation. I was simply CC'd in a couple of mails stating they acknowledged my complaint & to look into the matter, but received absolutely NO phone call from Santam on the matter whatsoever.

It is now July & the debit orders (R906.54 each) are still going off. I got off the phone with Santam around midday yesterday (another 17 minute phone call at my own expense) to cancel the policy & debit order, which apparently will take another 21 to 30 days to be refunded. When I asked, they said that they ARE supposed to automatically cancel the policy & stop the debit orders.

I have NEVER received such poor service & I feel Santam have only treated me with disregard, disrespect and completely keeping me uninformed UNLESS I CALL.
