Incapable of linking new credit card to internet

My credit card expired and I fetch my new card also after a few episodes of telephone calls to get it clear that I have been staying in Lichtenburg for the past 3.5 years and will not be able to fetch my card in JHB. Thereafter Standard Bank failed to send me any statements or sms's as a reminder for payment, but did not hesitate to hand me over (for R50!!!) - luckily they were able to inform me of that - which meant another set of calls to get that sorted out. This morning when I wanted to make another payment on my card I realised that I can not access my credit card via internet banking anymore. After 26 minutes talking and holding on during a phone call, and speaking to 4 (yes FOUR) people, I still have to go to a branch to sort it out! Is this custom service for every credit card that expires??? It is unacceptable! I considered registering for the UCount Rewards - but if Standard Bank can't even give their first line of service properly how can they consider to diversify?

PS: After FICA-ing and obtaining a home loan (and FICA-ing again), Standard Bank still did not manage to update my details which changed 3.5 years ago
