I lost my my credit card and my first phone call was to credit card division.
1. Credit Card Division call centre refused to order me a new credit card saying that they cannot do my security checks as they do not have my new address.
After getting really angry and wanting to talk to a team leader, the consultant did not put me through to the team leader but decided to order me the card. I then tried to trace the card and I was told once again they cannot do the security check as they don't have my details. I have been shunted around from pillar to post!
I then got hold of Rosebank, my card has been there since the 30 Jan, they didn't bother to send me a notification. They then told me that in order to fetch my card I needed proof of residence to update my details with card division!!! Why did'nt they do this when I fica'd? which I had to do twice? The consultant I spoke to said he will call me back, I am still waiting!
What is wrong with Standard bank and their service. Have they stopped going the extra mile?
I am ready to switch banks, I am getting tired of "bleep" bank!!
