Standard Bank is making me feel very special. I changed to FNB over a year ago because of Standard Bank's poor Customer Service after having been their Customer for 25 years.

I still get SMS's asking me why I am not using my credit card anymore, why I haven't used Internet Banking for so long, and even reminding me to pick up my new credit card.

Every time I get a SMS from Standard Bank I smile and wonder what System (s) Standard Bank is/are running? Do they still use pen and paper or have they implemented some sort of electronic IT Systems? If it is the latter, do they know how to use it? When the bank phoned me I asked if they knew whether I was still their Customer? Believe it or not they could not tell me.

O Standard Bank, after 25 years please update your System (even if it only pen and paper) and make a note SOMEWHERE that I am no longer your Customer. Please... I beg you... I am getting tired of your spam SMS's.
