Quick 2 debit, failing to pay back

I'd like to lodge a complaint about Chartis AIG. I sent my claim docs on the 13.06.2013 and I've never had any feedback from them. Today, 03.07.2013, I call & i get told that they request further docs, bank statements, ID & a Medical report. Hello! why do they need a bank statement? the same account they debit from is the same account that they need to pay me in. GP report was sent through, why do they need another one??? ID, I don't even want to go there. They got that when we first signed on. Bare in mind that the docs that i sent included a GP's Report. These people are quick to debit every month but they fail to pay once you've submitted all the docs that they require. They didn't even give me a courtesy call to say "Thank you we've received some docs but we just need this & that." Nothing! I want my claim to be processed right now!!! When I called in today, they put me on hold for a very long time when I asked for a senior person to attend to me.
Next thing that I will l do i will go to the Ombudsman and also go to the Media.
