I was contacted by Nedbank Card Division via sms. On the message I was informed that I owe money on a credit card that I stopped around 2003. The card was paid by me over the years. I was informed that there was an outstanding balance of around R3000-00 on the card and that was in around 2003. From 2004 I did pay on this card and up to 2012 June when I paid around R900-00 on this card. I phoned the card division and was told that there is R16000-00 outstanding on the card. I then asked how that is possible and then she told me it is R8000-00. I wanted to know how they got to R8000-00 then it was R6000-00. I told the person that I need a statement concerning money owed and then I will make arrangements and pay. On 2013-07-01 Nedbank Card Division took R4000-00 out of my account. Money that was not even in the account. I phoned them on their 086 number and was informed that it shows on the system that a request was made for a statement. no Statement yet. I was told to phone 0112949287. There I was told that we will take your last food money that you had. nobody can even tell me what I owe or how much. Money was taken by the Card division and I was told that I will not get it back.
