Hard to make a claim when no-one responds

After 6 phone calls last Thursday to try and establish how to go about putting in a claim, I gave up. Apparently, I couldn't be heard, then I was in the wrong department, then I got cut off while being put through to the right department, then it just rang...
I sent a message via the website which promised me that someone would contact me within 24 hours. Just as well I'm not holding my breath.
Question: is DialDirect hoping I'll go away without resolving my issue? I could cancel my policy, but I think I'm more inclined to put a complaint through to an ombudsman, or call 702, who appear to be the ONLY people in SA who actually get things done.
Shocking service. Pretty much what I've come to expect from SA companies. Keep going guys, maybe you'll notice when you lose all your customers, by which time it will be too late.
