About a month ago I moved my account to Standard bank, in the process applied to a personal loan which I requested to be available, 2 days ago I tried to access the load upon which i was told that the loan has expired and was 'cancelled' / 'closed', Standard bank offered to open another account for which I had to go into the Bedford gardens branch yesterday to sign all the papers again. I was told that the funds would be available immediately. I tried accessing my account and loan funds this morning - just to discover that it seems to have not come through... and will tomorrow probably be told that I was cancelled again. RATHER DISAPPOINTING that I haven't even been with them 1x month and I am already doubting if this was a good move - at least my previous bank I had no expectations as I knew their service sucked... probably need to take more time and change banks again... as this is not a good start for this relationship.
