Standard Bank ignored me and damaged credit record

In Jume 2013 I went to Standard Bank (SB) to enquire about the services it would offer me and to consider switching my account to SB. I was referred to Ashylene Paulsen. She told me that SB offered me an overdraft and a personal loan. I did not have all the required docs with me to open the account, so I left to e-mail the docs later. To my knowledge, at that stage I did not have a bank account with SB yet and subsequently no overdraft or personal loan. I struggled to communicate with my Ashylene and decided not to switch my account. I reported this to SB's customer services and requested not to open the account and to cancel my application for a personal loan. Zeenath Hassen responded and promised to refer the matter to management. 3 weeks after a lady from SB call centre called me and reminded me to collect my bank card. She informed me that I had the option to use the account for other purposes than salary deposits and debit orders. I collected the card today and received a bank statement by e-mail. The statement reflects loan repayments that was unpaid. No trace of the loan paid into my account. I want this account closed and personal loan cancelled immediately.
