I request to close my account and I was ignored

Virgin Mobile quality has dropped dramatically in the past few months. On 30 May, I requested my account to be closed, but on 27 June I still receive my monthly statement of my credit card, which means my account was never closed. All I received is an auto email say "we are experiencing high volume of emails" and they stopped responding!
Please attend to this matter urgently!
