CLAIM NOT BEING SETTLED

ON THE 6/10/2013 A WOMAN INSURED WITH SANTAM BUMPED INTO MY VEHICLE.
AS THE DAMAGE WAS MINOR I DID NOT SUBMIT A CLAIM TO MY INSURERS, AND OPTED TO CLAIM DIRECTLY FROM SANTAM. WELL WHAT A NIGHTMARE THAT'S TURNED OUT TO BE.
IT IS NOW OVER 2 MONTHS AND II STILL HAD NOT BEEN SORTED.
SANTAM HAVE ALLOCATED A CLAIM NO 165771583.
I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH VARIOUS PEOPLE IN THE LEGAL DEPARTMENT. THE LAST I WAS TOLD MORE THAN A WEEK AGO IS THAT SOMEONE WAS "ASSESSING" THE QUOTE I SUBMITTED FOR REPAIRS WHICH IS ONLY R 3 500.
SINCE THEN I HAVE SENT FOLLOW UP EMAILS TO WHICH I DO NOT GET A RESPONSE.
THIS IS PATHETIC AS I WANT MY VEHICLE FIXED BEFORE THE DECEMBER SHUTDOWN BUT AT THIS RATE IS WON'T BE.
