I took out a funeral policy with them in 2007, today I wanted to cancel the policy. I phoned Sanlam sky to do this, the call center agent informed me that the system is off line and they will phone me back (This was at 10:41) At 14:25 I phoned them again because nobody ever contacted me. When I phoned them at 14:25, I gave them my ID no and informed them that I want to cancel the policy, the call center agent informed me that they cannot pick up on the system that I have a funeral policy with them, however he informed me that I should phone another number because it can be that the funeral policy is with the group scheme. I then phoned the alternative number, just to once again be told that they cannot find anything on my ID no. The Call center agent again informed me that there is 3 other numbers that I can try and contact to see if they can pick up anything. I reached the correct number just to be informed that their policy doesn't allow them to cancel the policy over the phone, I have to email them and give them my signature for verification. HOW do they verify my signature, I took out the policy over the phone, I never supplied my signature. Worst service ever. NOT recommended
