A consultant from Nedbank called me on the 15 June 2013 to do my cheque card application over the phone. We did everything over the phone and all was fine, he informed me that someone will be contacting me from their head office to help me with switching my debit orders. He also imformed me that I will be contacted so that I can make an arrangement as to where I would like my card to be delivered. My understanding from our conversation was that these people would contact me soon after he processed my application and I would be able to get my card within the next 3-7 working days from the date of his phone call. I have been waiting since and no one has called me and when I called Nedbanks customer care line I kept on being transfered from one person to another and never got an answer regarding the delivery of my card. I am very frustrated at this level of unprofessionalism. From my dealings with the other banks is that they ask for your ID number so that they can be able to track your queries, I was not even asked once for my id and I was wondering how the will they be able to assist me if they do not even know who I am. PLEASE SORT YOURSELVES OUT BE CALLING POTENTIAL CLIENTS!!
