My name is Shehnilla Mohamed and I was recently involved in an accident. The accident took place on 12th May on Rustenburg Road in Victory Park, Johannesburg. I was travelling in the outer lane and Ms Waskow in the inner lane both in the same direction, North. Apparently Ms Waskow was lost she suddenly did a U-turn directly in front of me to turn around. I was unable to avoid impact and hit into her. My car, a Rav 4, was significantly damaged on the front end. Since the accident I have been trying to get Ms Waskow's insurance company ABSA IDIRECT to respond to my claim 3rd party insurance from your company. Peter Lynch, Loss Adjuster is who I have been dealing with but, after the initial contact and after I sent through my accident description report, refuses to respond to my emails and telephone messages - and believe me I have left many. So my car is lying damaged and I have been unable to use it since the accident which took place in May. I am appalled at the way in which ABSA IDIRECT has handled this case and am now looking to file a case with the Insurance Ombudsman and a civil case against Ms Waskow for damages.
