Incorrect Billing of Account

On 21 June 2013, i called to enquire about transaction on my statement - something called " Interest Correction". I was told that i cannot be given such information because it is privilege. I find that quite strange because I am paying for the account, and if there is a transaction am not clear about, I should be able to get a feedback/ explanation around it. The lady I spoke to at Legal told me straight she is not prepared to divulge that kind of information because it's privilege. This to me is unethical business conduct. They can easily charge any interest on my account without me knowing what is it for because it's "privilege information".

Consumers needs to be careful around their statement/ or what they get charged on monthly basis. These law firms go around and charge absorbent interest rates on ppl's account, and hide behind the notion that it's an instruction from client, and nobody can confirm that. It's really disturbing because you will be paying for the account forever due to escalating interest rates.
