BILLING OVER 50 % OF CHARGES NOTIFY 2 YEARS LATER

Good day, I need help on account and I am not too sure what to do. The account was handed over in August 2007, Capital, Interest, Fees was taken over on the account. Interest charged monthly but we were only advised of the debt in 2011. Incorrect details on the statement Eastern Cape which we never stayed nearby. I get charged for incoming and outgoing correspondence plus interest sms and anything else even emails or responding I have to pay for it. I thought as per CPA when an account is handed over you cannot charge more interest and legal fees on an account as this will never let your debt go down. This is what is happening right now. I have requested for no more communication except when I email and request feedback but no calls or sms as I will never be able to settle this account. i am also disputing all charges before 2011 as we were not made aware of this debt and when it came in 2011 we made arrangements, but we could not stick 100% to it monthly as we were in a difficult financial situation, furthermore we also never received a statement regarding the balance and background until today 17 April 2013. So I wish to dispute allot of charges and unfair charges billed.
