Every answer is "You have to go to the branch"

Business & Finance

I have 2 accounts, one is a savings account, one is a bond account. The savings account is used to access internet banking. It needs a minimum of R 100 in it. Because the charges have reduced it to below the minimum my access was denied. I've topped it up to above the minimum but still have no access.
Phoning the internet banking call centre is a waste of time. I couldn't get any sense out of the operator who didn't seem able to understand what I explained. Everything came back to 'the system says this account is not registered' and, of course, the ABSA standard "you will have to go into a branch".. What a waste of time!
