Incorrect and false information

I was called by a Miway consultant for a quote for my motor vehicle to better my premiums and if not cash back. Certain information was incorrectly conveyed and certain information was ignored, extras on the vehicle (Which i had clearly given and this would impact the premium). The consultant also did not understand what the term business and private use is, as i was told one thing and in fact was another, again i had informed this person that i was currently covered under business and this would impact the premium once again. I was also told by the consultant that i was covered for the higher and not the lower value, which when i called in the very next day, was told lower value. As a customer we are told to relay correct information and if any information is FALSE we will not be covered, BUT what happens when an insurance company gives out FALSE or incorrect information? My premium with Miway was lower before the issues above. Due to this I had reverted back to my current insurance company, however at an additional cost of reinstatement and lost reputation with the insurer of 6 months which would have benefited me dearly. This is a huge disappointment!
